Internal threading machine Operational Precautions
1. Prior to commencing operation, verify that all bolts on the Internal threading machine are securely fastened and that the power switch and wiring are in good working order. Wear prescribed protective equipment; unauthorised personnel are prohibited from operating the machine.
2. Before operation, lubricating oil or grease must be applied to designated lubrication points. Only commence operation once the machine is running smoothly, flexibly, and reliably.
3. Before tapping, ensure all required workpieces and tools are neatly arranged and within easy reach.
4. Adjust the tap size and depth to meet required specifications before commencing work to prevent stripped threads or insufficient thread engagement.
5. Gloves are strictly prohibited during operation. Female staff with long hair must secure it within their work caps.
6. For deep or blind holes, advance and retract the tap in stages to facilitate chip removal. Small workpieces must be secured in fixtures to ensure threading quality and operational safety.
7. Maintain clear spaces or grooves for chip evacuation during threading, clearing debris promptly. Reapply lubricant to the tap every 8-10 workpieces.
8. Regularly self-inspect thread quality; failure to check is prohibited to prevent ‘tapping through’ errors. Select machine speed according to workpiece requirements to ensure tapping quality, adjusting speed appropriately as needed.
9. Immediately cease operation upon detecting any abnormalities.
10. When troubleshooting or performing repairs, disconnect the power supply and wait for the machine tool to come to a complete standstill before notifying relevant personnel. Repairs must never be undertaken whilst the machine is in motion.
11. Upon completion of work, the power supply must be disconnected. Clear the workbench surface and promptly remove metal shavings. Organise processed workpieces, stack materials in designated locations, and ensure proper labelling.
12.After threading the rebar sleeves with the tapping machine, we must inspect the threading depth. Insufficient threading depth will result in shallow threads at one end of the sleeve, making it difficult to screw into the rebar. Furthermore, after threading the sleeves, random sampling must be conducted using go/no-go gauges. Only when both the go gauge and no-go gauge pass is the sleeve deemed acceptable.
