Rebar Coupler and Machine FAQ

How can I know the quality of Anda rebar coupler?

1、We provide pre-production samples prior to mass manufacturing; 100% final inspection is conducted before dispatch;
2、Complimentary samples are available for your testing purposes; alternatively, you may send us your reinforcement bars, which we shall return after sleeve connection. Should test results prove unsatisfactory, courier charges shall be borne by us.

We are a manufacturing company and welcome visits to our premises at any time. Should you be flying directly into Beijing, Tianjin or Shijiazhuang, we can arrange airport transfers.

  • Raw materials in stock: 5–10 days;
  • Raw materials out of stock: 15–20 days;
  • Standard steel bar connection sleeves: 3–7 days (in stock);
  • Customised versions subject to quantity.

Complimentary samples are available, though postage and packaging shall be borne by the customer; these may be offset against the purchase price upon formal order placement.

  • First-time collaboration: 100% advance payment (T/T), negotiable;
  • Other payment methods may be considered for long-term partnerships.

Standard sleeves: Tensile strength ≥620 MPa, yield strength ≥420 MPa;
Ultra-high-strength sleeves may also be manufactured to order.

Certainly, we have long-standing partnerships with freight forwarders who offer competitive pricing and guaranteed service quality.

In addition to rebar connection sleeves, we can also supply: rebar connection sleeve production equipment, complete production line set-up, rebar processing equipment, sleeve installation equipment, testing equipment, and more.

Reinforcing bar connection sleeves: 1,000 units;
Machinery and equipment: 1 set;
Should the required machine dimensions be in stock, minimum order quantities of 1 unit/item are acceptable.

45# steel (equivalent to S45C/1045/C45) or 40Cr.

We shall first seek the consent of the client in that country. Should they decline to give consent, we shall be unable to disclose any information. At the same time, we shall maintain the confidentiality of your information.

Standard national specification sockets are available from stock; customised products require production scheduling based on order volume.

  • The bond strength equals or exceeds that of the parent steel reinforcement;
  • High construction efficiency with material and energy savings;
  • Noise-free and spark-free operation, unaffected by weather or site conditions;
  • Pre-fabrication capability reduces project duration;
  • For reinforcement diameters ≥20 mm, offers greater cost and space savings compared to traditional lap splicing.

For each diameter, prepare three rods, each measuring 70–80 cm in length; each test requires three trials.

  1. Should you possess your own thread rolling machine, we shall provide sleeves free of charge for your own sample preparation and testing.
  2. If you lack such equipment and your reinforcing bars conform closely to national standards, you may refer to our testing reports or commission our laboratory to conduct tests and share the results.
  3. If you lack equipment and the standards differ significantly, please send us reinforcing bar samples. We shall prepare the samples and submit them to a third-party laboratory, with the report returned to you.

Certainly. However, please specify the rebar standard prior to placing your order to ensure appropriate material selection and manufacturing processes. Additionally, test specimens must be fabricated in accordance with specifications, as failure to do so may result in fracture at the threaded section. (Supplemental Q&A on 100% rebar fracture)

Compatible with mainstream standards including HRB335, HRB400, HRB500, B500B/C, ASTM A615 G40/60, and BS 4449. Please provide the yield strength of the reinforcing steel and thread specifications prior to ordering.

Certainly. The standard range comprises three types: ‘same-diameter connection’, ‘different-diameter connection’, and ‘right-hand/left-hand thread connection’. Specification must be provided separately.

Customisable British/American standard threads including UNC, UNF, BSW, etc. Prices and lead times to be confirmed separately.

Standard rebar sleeves withstand 2 million cycles without failure; ultra-high fatigue models can achieve 5 million cycles, subject to prior specification.

Available finishes include electrogalvanising, hot-dip galvanising, blackening, and Dacromet coating; Zinc coating thickness: 5–12 µm; Salt spray test endurance: ≥72 hours.

Thread rolling machine + rib removal tool + thread ring gauge + torque wrench (or pipe wrench); our company can supply complete sets.

Reference values:
• Φ16: 100 N·m
• Φ20: 200 N·m
• Φ25: 250 N·m
Actual values shall be determined by on-site test specimen data.

Construction may proceed normally at temperatures down to -20°C; below -30°C, it is recommended to preheat the ends of reinforcing bars to 5–10°C above freezing.

Laser marking on sleeve outer circumference: Factory code + diameter + batch number + year/month, traceable for 10 years.

Support. We can manufacture steel bar connection sleeves exceeding 50mm in diameter, or even larger, as well as non-standard products featuring special lengths or materials. Pricing, tooling costs and delivery times for such bespoke items require separate confirmation.

It is recommended to store in a dry, well-ventilated indoor environment, avoiding contact with corrosive substances such as acids and alkalis. For short-term outdoor storage, ensure proper covering to prevent exposure to rain and standing water, which may compromise thread precision and cause corrosion.

Accepted. We can laser-mark your company logo onto the rebar couplers as per your requirements and can customise packaging boxes or bags. Please enquire separately regarding minimum order quantities and associated costs.
